Meet Our Wonderful Staff:

Pana Animal Hospital- Staff- Bev

Bev Rudow, Receptionist:

Bev is a lifelong resident of the Pana area. She owned and operated her own floral shop, Bob's Floral for 30+ years, when she decided to change careers. Bev's love of animals led her to Pana Animal Hospital in February 2008. Her free time is spent loving her grandchildren and her two very special dogs, Moxie & newly adopted Lilly.

Pana Animal Hospital - Staff - Jacelyn

Jacelyn Seibert, Certified Veterinary Technician:

Jacelyn started out as a kennel girl in 2013 as kennel girl and worked her way up to an assistant position. Upon high school graduation, she moved to Champaign to follow her dream of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. She graduated with her Associates in 2016 and passed her boards that May. The first year after college was very busy for her. She and boyfriend bought a house, got engaged, adopted another puppy, and fostered 13 others within the year. Jacelyn and her now husband Tyler have two fur-children that include; a boxer, Zina, she has a cleft lip and a cleft palate and then there is Bruiser the bulldog, he has a cleft palate and the typical bulldog problems. The family loves to spend time outside doing yard work, or just playing. Zina's favorite activity is swimming, although she has to wear a life jacket because she is not very good at it. While Bruise just likes soaking up some rays. Jacelyn can’t wait to see where life takes her and her family.

Pana Animal Hospital - Staff - Janet

Janet Crawley, Veterinary Assistant:

Janet has been working at Pana Animal Hospital since Feb. 2015. She previously worked at another clinic for 25 years. When that Dr. retired she took a couple years off and did a lot of volunteer work for the Humane Society and fostered a few dogs and kittens. She has 5 dogs and 6 cats and they all love living in the country. So a big part of her life has been taking care of animals.

She is originally from Pana but grew up in Decatur. She has been married for 36 years to her best friend. No children---just a lot of pets!

She is glad to be back in the veterinary business and working with Dr. Lutz and the rest of the staff. We all have something in common, we want to help our patients live healthy lives, we enjoy working with animals, and we want to make their "visit to the vet" as pleasant as possible.

Pana Animal Hospital - Staff - Jessica

Jessica Oller, Veterinary Assistant:

Ever since Jessica was little she had an interest in animals. She would always bring turtles and frogs home with her from the woods and ponds she used to play in, which lead her to a career working with animals. In 2012 she graduated from Millikin University with a bachelors degree in Biology, and went on to earn a graduate certificate in Zoo & Aquarium studies from Western Illinois University in 2013, which is when she joined Pana Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant.

Dr. Lutz then convinced her to continue her education and pursue a Veterinary Technician degree which she is currently finishing up. Her favorite part about working at PAH is monitoring surgery patients and taking radiographs (x-rays). Jessica has a dog named Peanut, which is her best friend. Peanut has had multiple health issues so she gets to come to work with her mom often, which she loves. She also has as a Leopard Gecko named Squirt, and a betta fish that still doesn’t have a name.
